Teacher Training

Last week I did the 'selection event' to see if I could get on to the interview to do teacher training. The selection event included me giving a talk for a minute on a subject of my choice (I chose Extreme:Rebuild), do some maths and English tests (multiple choice) and a psychometric test.

I was so nervous when I had to give the talk because it was in front of everyone else who was there (20 adults) and I don't think I did too well.

The psychometric test was just a regular choose from these two extremes and wasn't hard, just you worry if you are choosing the right answer for the type of person they are looking for but I still answered truthfully.

The maths and english tests weren't too bad (easier than I thought they'd be).

So, we found out the psychometric, maths and english tests wont have anything to do with if we get chosen for the interview or not :s so that left the talk and well.... I went to pieces. The worst part was we were going to have to wait a week to find out if we got the interview or not

Yesterday I got a phone call saying that on Wed 17th of May I HAVE AN INTERVIEW!!! This can only be down to God because I was totally rubbish at the talk and I just feel Him nudging me into teaching. So yaaay!!!

I now have to worry about what psychoses my psychometric test will uncover (I'll find out 15 mins before the interview). heheh - it's all good!!!

I'm nearly at the end of the dissertation and I'm not sure if I've done enough - I'm gonna try and finish it by Monday (it's due in a week and a day after that) so I can add to it if I need to.

Well, that's all from me for now

God bless you all

Extreme: Rebuild

Extreme:Rebuild starts tomorrow. w00t!! It's gonna be a fun time, and I'm gonna try and blog it every day and maybe with pictures. I may be able to get some onto Frappr but I may have to post them to my other site.

Anyway, the draft dissertation went in yesterday and although it didn't have everything I'd want in it, but I can see it all coming together. Oh yeah, my program works GREAT!!! (one slight problem ATM, but it's sortable) :)

Hope to hear from you guys soon.

Nearly nearly finished

Well, the proramming side of things is nearly nearly finished - yaaay!  Most of the difficult stuff is done, I just have to add a few extras to cap things off and make it all schweet!  I also have to get all the documents and other stuff done which shouldn't take too much.

So basically, I'm totally nearly there now - (promise)!!!

I'm hoping things now are going to be totally downhill and that I can now relax a bit more.  I know I've been a bit boring for like the last, well probably for as long as most of you have known me, but I'm really really really going to try and be happier and more relaxed and NOT TALK ABOUT MY PROGRAM OR ASSIGNMENTS!!!  And I give everyone the right to give me a slap if I go back to how I was!!! :) - Please do!!  :)

Well, that's all for now.  I'm just watching some Futurama, I love it!!  Oh oh, Battlestar Galactica was totaly tatally excellent, it's my favorite TV show at the moment, the one show I just can't ever miss.  I totally recommend it to eVEryOnE!!!!!

Well, that's is.  See ya all later!!  God bless!

Update...

So I'm now nearly there with my project. I can't believe it's nearly over with this stuff, I feel I've been working on it for ages, and I have (since September) and I'm nearly nearly there with the programming side. I've now gotta add all the 'fluf' like designing things that I should have done (I've done some, but adding more is always good).

So... I'm going to Italy in the summer and I can't wait!! I've only ever been to Russia outside the country (going to Calais doesn't count) and I just can't wait. I'm visiting a friend out there who I haven't seen in years but we've kept in contact and she said I could visit any time, and this summer is the first chance I've had.

I was going to add something else, but I've totally forgotten what it was. If I think of it, I'll blog again.

I'm going to try and keep this blog up to date, which will also have the stuff from http://richsouth.blogspot.com but MySpace is easier for everyone to visit, but I still have ppl go to my blogspot so both are there.

I also have a site, http://richsouth.jamesonelinesite.co.uk which has some pictures of Love Southend.

See ya all soon

New keyboard

The new keyboard has just arrived and I've configured it to replace my old keyboard which as you can see is totall y messed up.

The new one feels different and I expect it will take a little time until I get used to it.  It just feels different, I don't know how to explain it.  It's a nice keyboard though and it's so much better than any PC keybard I've ever used.

Anyway, I've got tons of coding to do so, I'd better go.
